Arrive Amman 09:45H, then proceed to a guided tour and visit the city of Madaba, a site of the oldest Mosaic map of Jerusalem. Get a glimpse of what was once the Biblical land. Travel along the King’s highway through the ever changing scenery of the Transjordan plateau, stand at Mt. Nebo marked by a simple chapel. It is here that Moses viewed Canaan of Israel. God did not allow him to enter, he lived out his life together with Joshua and the masses he led out of Egypt. Drive to Mukawir, the dramatic hilltop which is the traditional site of the execution of John the Baptist then proceed to Petra for overnight.

After breakfast, tour the lost City of Petra, chosen by BBC as one of the 40 places you have to see before you die’ Petra (made famous by the movie Indiana Jones) was chosen as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Optional horse ride through the picturesque Siq and visit the Treasury. Royal Tombs and Roman Theatre Drive back to Amman for dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Visit Jerash, one of the biggest and well-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the Middle East with its colonnade streets, theatre, temple of Zeus, Arch of Hardrian, Artermis East. See the Elliptical Forum, the Ancient City was buried in the sand but its ruins have gradually been revealed through a series of excavations which commenced in 1925 till this day. Then proceed to Anjara, a biblical city which features on most biblical tours of Jordan. Visitors head for the Shrine of Our Lady of the Mountain, a Roman Catholic Church. The church consist of a large hall to receive pilgrims who come to honour the life size wooden statue of the Virgin Mary holding the baby Jesus placed within the newly built grotto. It is believed that Jesus Christ and his disciples including Virgin Mary passed through Anjara once and rested in a cave there during a journey between Jerusalem and Gallilee. Anjara was designated by the Vatican as a Millennium 2000 pilgrimage site. Back to Amman to visit the Citadel and the Roman theatre, and also a panoramic tour before returning back to hotel, dinner and overnight.

Amman-Cross Border to Israel-Jericho-Qsasr Al Yahud-Dead Sea BLD

Cross the border to Jerusalem. After formalities drive to Allenby bridge and cross to Jericho, the oldest city in the world, to view Mt of Temptation and see the Sycamore tree where Zacchaeus climbed just to see our Lord Jesus Christ. Renew baptismal vows in Jordan River, Qsasr Al Yahud ,site of the baptism of Jesus by St John the Baptise. Proceed to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth to experience floating on its therapeutic waters. Drive to Tiberias for overnight.

Cana- Nazareth-Jerusalem BLD
Drive to Mount of Olives stopping at the Church of the Ascension, where Jesus ascended to heaven, the Church of Pater Noster, where Jesus taught his disciples the Lord’s Prayer. See the ‘Our Father’ in various languages including Filipino. Walk the Palm Sunday Road ending in the Church and Garden of Gethsemane. See Mary’s tomb. Proceed to Mt. Moriah to visit the Wailing or Western Wall, a remnant of Herod’s grand temple and the holiest site for Jews. Drive to Bethlehem for lunch then visit the Church of Nativity where Jesus was born, the Shepherd’s field where the Angels awaited the birth of Christ and the Milk Grotto where the Blessed Mother nursed Jesus and the holy family briefly stayed. Old City of Jerusalem-Via Dolorosa- Last Supper- St Peter Gallicantu BLD
After breakfast, drive to Old Jerusalem and walk along history itself as you go through the narrow streets and alleys. See the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus miraculously cured a blind man and a paralytic and the nearby home of St Anne and St Joachim where the Blessed Mother Mary was born. It is now the Church of St Anne, walk the Via Dolorosa, the route that Jesus took between his condemnation by Pilate and his crucifixion and burial which for many Christians is the most important part and meaningful experience in this holy city. See the Ecce Homo, where the residence of Pontius Pilate once stood, and is the second station of the cross on the Via Dolorosa. It ends in the crucifixion place, Golgotha, where the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is located in the west side of the old city (Christian quarter). Walk to the nearby Mt Zion to see the Upper Room or Cenacle, the site of the Last Supper, the Church of Dormition, built in honour of Mary the mother of Jesus. According to Christian Tradition, Mary did not die but fell into eternal sleep and was taken into Heaven. See David’s tomb, the traditional site of the tomb of King David, and holy to Jews, Christians and Muslims. Drive to St Peter Gallicantu where according to tradition, was the place of the palace of the high priest Caiaphas, where Jesus was brought to jail after his arrest. Its name Gallicantu, means the cock’s crow, is given after the story of Peter’s triple denial of Christ and the cock crowing thrice. Drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Drive to Ein Karem and visit the birthplace of St John the Baptist. Proceed to Yad Va Shem a powerful Memorial Museum of the holocaust. We will then make a tour of the new city of Jerusalem, passing by most famous places, including Knesset- Israeli Parliament, Large Menorah statue, the High Court building. On to Emmaus, where Jesus appeared to His followers after his resurrection

Jaffa-Muhraka- Caesaria BLD
Start your day in Jaffa, a magnificent old Arab city full of Mediterranean charms where Jonah set sail to the sea and for centuries was the arrival port of pilgrims visiting the Holy Land. We’ll see St Peter’s church, the house of Simon tanner where the apostle Peter received his crucial vision that changed his mind about accepting Gentiles into the early Christian Church. Enjoy the amazing scenery of the world’s largest old fishermen port. On to Haifa, Israel’s third largest city to visit Muhraka on the southern end of the Mt Carmel range where Elijah taught the prophets of Baal. The site has a commanding view of both the Jezreel valley and the Mediterranean sea. Drive to Caesaria, built by Herod the Great, meant to be the Roman bastion of might. Here was the home of Cornelius, the first Gentile convert and of Philip the evangelist. See the amphitheatre, a reminder of the Roman Herodian and Crusader periods. Overnight in Tiberias

Galilee Area BLD
Begin the day at Mount of Beatitudes where Jesus proclaimed the eight beatitudes. Pray at St Peter’s Primary Church on the sea of the Galilee shore. Follow Jesus path to Tabgha, where he fed the multitudes with five loaves and two fishes. Walk along the shores of Capernaum; visit St Peter’s house, where Jesus preached and healed Peter’s mother-in-law. Take an exhilarating ferry boat ride across the Sea of Galilee then visit the Ancient Boat believe to be the one used during the time of Jesus.

Cana-Nazareth Mt Tabor BLD
Drive to Cana to the Wedding Church, where the first miracle happened. Eucharistic Celebration and renewal of marriage vows. On to Nazareth, city chosen by God for the annunciation of the birth of His Son Here Jesus grew to manhood. Visit the Basilica of Annunciation and St Joseph’s workshop. Drive up to Mt. Precipice where tradition has it, an angry mob attempted to throw Jesus off the cliff but ‘he passed through the midst of them and went away.’ End the day at Mt Tabor to visit the Church of Transfiguration. Dinner and overnight at Tiberias
